Now that my oldest child is in kindergarten, we are able to play some games that I truly enjoy. (Not that I didn’t enjoy the preschool games, but they were not the sort of games I loved to play over and over again in a single day.) Some of these board games for kindergarten take strategy and forethought and are not as dependent on the luck of the draw. Some are cooperative games, meaning that there is no winner or loser. Others are competitive. Personally, I don’t believe in “letting” my 5 year old win, though I definitely go a little easy on him.
