In reply to <a href="https://researchparent.com/2024-u-s-presidential-election-lap-book/#comment-270630">April</a>.

Hi! I'm sorry...since a lot of the stances of particular candidates were not clear to me, I created that page less with the particular candidate in mind, but more with long-standing party stances. This is especially true of the the third party candidates since I know next to nothing about them and didn't have time to do a ton of research. If you feel that I got one or two stances wrong, my advice is to use white out and fix it. If you feel that many of them are wrong, I also included a blank version of the table so kids can fill it out completely on their own. This would probably be preferable, buy my particular kids don't like writing and I didn't want them to hate the activity.

It is so close to the election, I am not going to make any changes at this point, but if you want to share what you feel is wrong here on this thread, please go ahead. I know one reader shared that they did not feel Trump was pro-life. Also, somone thought it should say that he "opposed expansion" rather than flat out "opposed" in another spot. Hopefully when I update this in 4 years I will have time to give this more consideration and be able to incorporate reader feedback! I do want to be fair to all sides!

Hi,
I had a quick question. On the page that lists what they support and oppose, I'm a little confused with the way that its listed. It seems that support and oppose are in random places and don't seem to totally line up with their stances correctly. Am I seeing it wrong? Any help is appreciated, thank you!
