My 5 year old will probably never use it again, since he can already do all the puzzles. I could easily see my 3 and a half year old playing with it for 15-ish minutes a day if I were to set up a puzzle for her each day, but in reality she doesn’t play with it every day because I don’t take the time to set it up and because she’s gotten to the point where the puzzles are difficult enough that her frustration outweighs her pleasure, so we’ll wait a couple weeks and try again. I think best case, since there are 48 puzzles, if you timed everything just right developmentally, you’d get 48*15 minutes = 12 hours of play spread out over a few months. I agree with you…$25 does seem a little high. Psychologically, I’d be much more comfortable with $19.99, but I have at least one extra kid who is going to get to use it, so for me, I’m pretty happy with my purchase. It’s a cute game.
