Introducing my kids to some of the best books the world has to offer is important to me. Developing a life-long love of reading is one my primary hopes for my children. I consider instilling and nurturing this love to be among the most important of my parental responsibilities. Not only do books nurture the mind by educating and making the unfamiliar become familiar. They also nurture the spirit, by teaching humanity and morality. Additionally, books provide free-thinking role models for kids to emulate.
Reading makes life at any age more enjoyable. When there are so many books to choose from, how does one decide which books are worth opening? As a result, I’ve discovered several amazing children’s books that not only do my kids love, but I love them as well.
