Once my oldest child was in kindergarten, we were able to play some games that I truly enjoyed. (Not that I didn’t enjoy the preschool games, but they were not the sort of games I loved to play over and over again in a single day.) Some of these board games for kindergarten take strategy and forethought. Others are more dependent on the luck of the draw. Some are cooperative games, meaning that there is no winner or loser. Others are competitive.
Below are some games our family has enjoyed with kindergartners. Click on each game below for a detailed review.
Family Favorites
The games below were at least one of my kindergartner’s favorites and are enjoyed by the whole family. If you are going to invest in a game, these are the ones that I highly recommend.
