Most of the activities and educational tools on this page will likely only be of interest to US citizens. At some point in the future, I’d love to focus on some of the other systems of government in the world. However, for now my goal is that my own kids understand how the government works within the country in which they live.
I want my kids to grow up eager to be voting, participating, contributing members of society. I hope they understand and appreciate the freedoms and opportunity that they are afforded by being United States citizens. I also want them to be aware and conscious of the shortcomings of our government. Honestly, I don’t want them to be politicians, but at the same time, I hope they understand how they can be instruments of positive change.
