Comments: You don’t have to be from the southwest to appreciate this book. It shows various adorable illustrations of southwestern animals that don’t want to go to bed. My son’s favorite part is when the porcupine pokes quills in his pillow and throws it on the floor. He rarely laughs out loud at books, but that page in particular always makes him giggle. He also likes the part about ignoring what mama says.
