Comments: This is the second pigeon book we read and my 3-year-old son and I both love it. He still likes the puppy one better, but that one requires a little more complicated responses than this one to have it make sense (i.e., “I’m fine. How are you?” (puppy book) vs. “No!” (bus book)). I should mention that we have since read several other books in the series (hot dog, stay-up late, cookie…) and while they’re still funny, the humor does get a little old. Also, I think these books might have taught my son to say things like, “You never let me do ANYTHING.” and “I want it right here, right now!” Despite that, I still think these are awesome books.
