Comments: This book seems like it was made for my 5 year old. His favorite dinner is tacos and his favorite animal (mythical or otherwise) is dragons. He also doesn’t like spicy food. Honestly, I thought some of the text was a little awkwardly written, but it is definitely an appealing book for this age group and my son thinks it is hilariously funny. We checked it out from the library and couldn’t give it back for over a month. He included it in his nighttime line up on a regular basis. It’s also one of those books that he seems to think is funnier each time we read it. The first time, he wasn’t so sure what to think of it. He didn’t really know it was supposed to be funny and I think he was a little worried about how it was going to end, but now that he “gets it” and knows what’s going to happen, he loves it.
