In order to receive my newsletter and periodically be sent exclusive educational freebies, there are just a couple more things you need to do:
1) CONFIRM YOUR SUBSCRIPTION — I’m hoping the confirmation email was sent to an inbox you regularly look at, but if not please check your other folders or tabs within your email account (such as Other/Social/Promotions).
2) FIND YOUR WELCOME EMAIL — Approximately 1 minute after you confirm your subscription, you will be a sent an automatic welcome email from me (Michelle @ Research Parent). Please find this email. Again you may have to check your other folders besides your primary inbox.
3) DRAG MY EMAIL WHERE YOU WANT IT — If you had to hunt to find my email, please drag it from it’s hiding place to someplace you will see it (such as the Primary tab in gmail or the Focused tab in Hotmail). After you move it over, you may have to confirm that you would like future emails to be delivered there as well.
Now that that’s taken care of, I would really love to help you raise kids who love to learn. I understand that being a parent is expensive. We want to give our kids the hands-on tools to make learning fun, but we don’t want to have to pay a small fortune. That’s why I create a lot of my own material and why I am happy to share what I make with you at no cost.
To start, two of the most popular pages on this site are my free printables and robots for kids. However, if you snoop around, you will find there is LOTS more on Research Parent. Feel free to learn a little more about this site or about me.
I want to produce content and tools that are useful to you, so if there is something you would like to see on this site, feel free to contact me here or reply to any of the emails you receive from Research Parent.

I love your dinosaur lapbook. So clearly laid out and I love the little man for size comparison. Great idea. Thanks for the help. I’ve been homeschooling for 14 years and many more to go for the youngest is 6. Hahaha. Always looking for improvements to our curriculum. Thank you.
Michelle
I’m so glad you like it. That’s amazing and great to hear that you’re still homeschooling after 14 years. I just got started, but am hoping that I’ll be able to keep it up for a long time with my 4 kids. :)

Its awesome!!
It’s a great attempt from ur company to make the kids future scientists. I m running a school and very much inclined to be associated with ur company.
It’d be a privilege on my part that if my school get an opportunity to work with ur company..
Please help in this regard !!

I am new to this site, so have not checked it out yet. I have learned that you can “learn” a lot about a person or site from comments sent in by those who frequent the site. I am a believer of passing on what we can to those who need it. I have been a teacher since 1991 and cannot tell you how much I have spent on finding things to work with my Special Needs kids that I did not have to sit and super modify-simply because things are not written at a point that “any” one can do. I read a few of the things on the first page of your site, and was intrigued-wow someone who is “giving” back and not expecting a big payoff! That is why we got into teaching in the first place, to help others! Yes its nice to make money, but come on, we all got help to make it to where we are, and hopefully those who gave the help gave it freely, and as teachers we are not “rolling in the dough”!! I will be reading and seeing as much as I can between “work” teaching from home these days-not much different than in the classroom-they are just not a warm body sitting in front of me! In advance I thank you for all that you do to help us -grandmothers, still working teachers, and parents-you put in all the hard work-not for you , mind blowing to me-and we reap the education benefits of your efforts! My teaching / grandma hat is off to you! Thank you for being selfless in the regard of passing it forward!
Suzanna
Michelle
Awww, thank you so much, Suzanna! I really appreciate your kind words. :)

This looks super helpful for me, but I’m having no luck subscribing, There has been nothing in my email and I’ve only succeeded in downloading a site for manuals. None of them look like kids projects. Can you help this grandma home school teacher know what I’m doing wrong?
Michelle
Hi Suzanne! I am not really sure why some email providers block my emails! I am so sorry. However, you should know that at the moment, all of my free resources can be found here: https://researchparent.com/free-printables/
Subscribers are notified when new material is posted, but it is not necessary to be a subscriber at the moment to access of my free material. I hope this helps!

Heading on my first zoo trip in a long time this Friday with my kiddos. Going to use the zoology cards to go along with our scavenger hunt we are doing. Thank you for the wonderful freebie. I signed up for the newsletter just because these are so great! Using them for kids in 1st grade, 4th grade and 6th grade! They will work to help all of them and I love that since I’m pretty new to the homeschool gang! Thank you again!
Michelle
I am so glad you are able to use them, Rebecca! I hope your zoo adventure is a blast!
Jaymoe
Do you have exercises for 4th grade?
Michelle
I don’t sort my activities by grade, with the exception of math. Here are some fourth-grade math problems: https://researchparent.com/fourth-grade-minimalist-math-curriculum/
Hope that helps!
Randell
Thank you! Finally someone that understands the importance of kids knowing the commands rather than covering up everything. You have finally simplified coding that I can use in my STEAM classroom without computers as i don’t have those available in my current portable classroom. What a great way to teach kids!
Michelle
I’m so glad you find my resources helpful! :)
