Comments: This book is a little disturbing when you think about it. (The main character, the gingerbread boy, gets eaten by a fox in the end.) Maybe my family is morbid, but I remember loving this story as a child and my 2 and a half year old definitely likes it as well. Update: About a month after reading this book, he did seem to develop an abnormal fear of foxes, which lasted a couple weeks.
