One of my hardest tasks as a parent is dealing with sibling rivalry. When they play well together, it’s amazing and beautiful to watch. When they fight, it drives. me. crazy. I know that a modest amount of annoyance and bickering is unavoidable. What I most want is for my children to grow up loving and appreciating each other. For them to stay close as adults is one of my biggest hopes as a parent.
Note that if you only had time to read one parenting book on siblings, I currently recommend Siblings Without Rivalry by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.
