Comments: As with I’m Dirty!, I’ll admit I don’t fully understand the appeal of this book about a garbage truck, but even my husband likes it and its appeal among kids is undeniable. My nearly 4 year old thinks it’s the greatest book ever. A friend of my preschooler liked it to so much when he came over for play date that I bought him his own copy for his fourth birthday. At least it’s a good way for them to practice their alphabet and learn a little bit about how a garbage truck works. I will say that even after having read it at the request of my preschooler and toddler 50+ times, I don’t really mind reading it to them, especially compared to some of the other books that have made it into the nightly rotation.
