Comments: I was really shocked by how much my 3 and a half year old liked this book. I thought it would go way over his head, and some of it definitely did, but he still really liked it and was able to sit through an entire chapter a night. What surprised me the most was how much I liked it. Some of it was so funny that I read passages to my husband after my son fell asleep. I know my son didn’t get the dry humor and irony, but the stories were so simple, and he took them so literally, that they were perfect for him. (As a note, the first chapter is written as if the author is speaking to Christopher Robin. I found this confusing for my 3 year old, so I changed the tense as I was reading. After that, the whole book is in third person, which is much easier to understand.)
